The impact of these interactions are still visible in modern society through a countries wealth and economic standing. In the current edition of 'Financial Times' China is said to have overtaken EU as Iran's top trade partner. China before the New Imperialist era was autonomous; whereas, it more often than not didn't hassle with other countries. Why did China begin to subject to other nations and to moderize through western ways? It is simple; China was forced.
