What was "the New Imperialism? (In your own words, who, what, when, where, why?)
New Imperialism was the domination of territories by Europeans, mostly Britian, in the late 19th century to the early 20th century. This New Imperialism was different than that of older forms of Imperialism due to the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution had advanced European powers enabling them to overshadow colonies briskly and powerfully. Materials imported from these colonies were used to fuel the enormous factories of britian, in particular the textile industry. Some of these colonies were India and North America.
